A real challenge for the winter sports enthusiast!
Once again in 2025, the spectacular race on the north run of the Schlossalm takes place in Gastein. The route from the Hohe Scharte to the valley station of the Schlossalm is considered one of the longest downhill runs in the Eastern Alps. The "wild race" in super-G style covers 1440 metres in altitude. It takes enormous strength and stamina in the thighs to be cheered on by the fans at the finish line at the Weitmoserin after around 6 minutes.
