Are pets allowed?
We have some rooms that you can book with your dog. For your dog we charge 10 € per night (without food). Please ask by e-mail or telephone whether one of these rooms is available for your desired period. Please contact us by phone at +49 (0) 8531232909 or by e-mail at info@johannesbad-hotels.com.
Where can I get information about the wellness & spa area?
A spacious wellness area with panoramic windows, a mineral thermal water pool, whirlpool, Finnish sauna, steam sauna, salt grotto, experience showers and relaxation areas await you. Our wellness area is open daily from 7:00 am to 10:00 pm, the sauna area from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Further information is available here.

The quickest way to find available rooms is via our own reservation system on the website. What is special about the Johannesbad Therme and how much does admission cost?
The Johannesbad Therme is part of our company and is the largest thermal spa in Bad Füssing. It offers 4500 square meters of water surface with 13 indoor and outdoor pools and water temperatures from 17 to 39 degrees (e.g. volcanic rock pool, salt water lagoon, etc.). The highly sulphurous thermal mineral water from the hotel's own state-approved healing spring, our Johannesquelle, is legendary. The world-famous thermal water is not just thermal water, but mineral thermal water, which has proven positive effects on various complaints, such as muscles and joints, cardiovascular system, stress and burnout, rheumatic diseases, etc.
For hotel guests who have booked a package, admission is usually included. For all other hotel guests, admission is discounted and currently costs €17.00 per day.
Is the hotel also suitable for families?
We offer space for the whole family. Let us know if you would like a baby crib or if you are not sure which room suits you best. Children of all ages are welcome in our wellness area.
Where and when does the dinner take place?
The restaurant for dinner is located on the first floor. The half-board dinner takes place from 17:30 to 21:00.
Where can I book wellness treatments?
If you have already booked an arrangement with a massage included, the appointments will be scheduled a few weeks before your arrival and you will receive an overview of your appointments on arrival. For individual appointment requests, you are welcome to contact us by email at roswitha.greilinger@johannesbad.com.
Will I be provided with a bathrobe?
Fluffy bathrobes are waiting for you in your room on arrival and are included in the room price.
At what times can I check in and check out?
Our rooms are ready for you from 14:00. If you arrive after 18:00, please let us know shortly. You can check out on the day of departure until 10:00 am.
When is the restaurant open?
Breakfast is served daily from 07:00 to 10:00, dinner as part of half board is served daily from 17:30 to 20:00. The hotel bar is open from 10:00 to at least 23:00.
What is a direct booking and what advantages does it have for me?
A direct booking is a booking made via our website directly here or by telephone or email to our reservation. You will always receive the best price, a free cancellation up to 7 days before arrival (except Christmas & New Year's Eve) and do not have to pay a deposit.
